The 2010 Suzuki XL7 has been discontinued, but examples of 2009 models may be available on dealer lots. For 2010, the XL7 gets standard three-row seating and a new six-speed automatic transmission. XL7 trails the competition for value and overall refinement. It shines only for acceleration and transmission performance.

For ride, handling, and quietness, this crossover falls far short of class leaders such as the Honda Pilot and Saturn Outlook. As of mid-2008, the XL7 was one of the slowest-selling vehicles in America, and Suzuki is discontinuing it after the 2009 model year. For a more fuel-efficient alternative, consider the Subaru Forester.

The XL7 is available in front-wheel or all-wheel drive. For 2010, the former base model and all five-passenger models have been discontinued. Premium, Luxury and Limited trims are available.
The new XL7 is vehicle into one of 18 classes based on size, price, and market position. Larger than Compact SUVs, Midsize SUVs offer a mix of car- and truck-type construction, V6 and V8 power, and up to 8-passenger seating. This class also includes crossover vehicles.

With the compact CR-V and the eight-seat Pilot, the manufacturers from Honda seem to have pretty well crossover market. The Honda Accord Crosstour looks to slot in between the two in terms of functionality, yet will stand at the top from a pricing perspective. By packaging, pricing, and marketing this vehicle on the high-end of the five-passenger crossover segment, Honda is targeting both empty nesters and young couples moving from either a smaller or larger vehicle into this growing segment.

The Crosstour’s bulging rear end and sloped roof aren’t exactly new, but the look is still quite shocking. Vehicles like the BMW X6, the BMW 5-series GT, and the Acura ZDX have all paved the way for Honda’s four-door crossover coupe. That hasn’t stopped people from calling the Crosstour’s style into question.
From the Honda says that about 60 percents of the parts of Honda Crosstour are from its model Accord sedan. In that part include the basic chassis, instrument panel, and powertrain. But for the difference from the Accord sedan, who have a four- and six-cylinder engines, in the structure of Accord Crosstour, is only with one engine and 271 horsepower, V6, which is paired to a five-speed automatic transmission. Buyers can choose between front- or all-wheel drive. Fuel economy is rated at 18/27 mpg for the two-wheel-drive Crosstour, and 17/25 for the all-wheel-drive model.

Similar to the sedan, and the Crosstour offers the control-arm front suspension and multitank rear setup. The crossover grows in length and width by about two inches while the wheelbase is nearly identical. Height for the Crosstour is more than seven inches taller than the sedan, helped by both a taller roof and ground clearance that is raised 0.3 inches.

The new colors of new G-Class SUVs that are available: available: “palladium silver metallic” or the “designo platinum magno” matt finish, which show off the striking body design of the “G” to particularly good effect, supplement the line-up for 2009. At the rear, the new models make a distinctive statement with a modified spare wheel cover with a three-dimensional Mercedes star.
