The 2009/2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT 4.0L 4X2 is actually an Explorer with a pick-up bed. This configuration of the midsize SUV-pickup provides a flexible cargo space (takes 37.5 cu. ft.) along with all the traditional Explorer features. The cargo bed also features a convenient underfloor, waterproof, secure space for tools and equipment. The Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT is with 4 doors, with five-passenger seats, midsize pickup available with rear-wheel, 4-wheel, or all-wheel drive.

It is powered by a 210 hp 4.0-liter V6 engine mated to an excellent five-speed automatic transmission.
