2010 Nissan Rogue
2010 Nissan Rogue red
The new Nissan Rogue is with a sticker price of $20 000 and five passenger’s seats. It is one of the more affordable compact SUVs. Its 22/27 mpg rating also places it in the top half of its class for fuel economy. Overall, Rogue’s competitors are quieter and more refined, but this compact Nissan gets points for sleek styling and high levels of interior practically. If you can live with Rogue’s sometimes harsh ride, this little Nissan might make sense.

Though the Rogue’s value makes it a good choice for families, there are even cheaper and more efficient options available. Value-seekers should check out the Jeep Patriot (which offers off-road capabilities) and Compass, which cost less than $19,000 and boast 23/28 mpg ratings. Unfortunately, like the Rogue, these don’t offer V6 engines.
For more power, consider the Toyota RAV4, Kia Sorento and Dodge Nitro, all of which offer V6s. Remember, however, that you’ll have to spend a bit more (at least $21,000), and fuel economy won’t be as good.

The only addition the Rogue sees for 2010 is a 360 Value Package for the base model. It adds exterior features including a chrome grille, rear spoiler and 16-inch alloy wheels. The new model is priced only $120 more than the 2009 Rogue. Be sure to check out this month’s Nissan Deals to see if any discounts or incentives are available on the Rogue.
2010 Nissan Armada
2010 Nissan Armada front
The V8 engine of the new Nissan Armada is make for easier drive. Especially for women. There are no problems to passing by other cars on the way.
After picking up the Armada , you got a Costco membership and began my living-large experience. If you pulled the Armada into a parking spot at Costco between a Chevy Tahoe and a Toyota Sequoia, I was certain no one even suspected I was both a big-car and Costco novice.
2010 Nissan Armada interior
The Armada is also an attractive SUV. It’s not fancy, but it manages to look handsomer than the other test car’s $45,900 price tag might suggest for an SUV of this size and power. Many test cars had the midlevel Titanium trim, which comes standard with 20-inch wheels, a tow package (the Armada has a rep for being a good hauler), fog lights, keyless entry and ignition, and a sexy-looking chrome finish on the side mirrors, tailpipe, grille and roof rack.
It also comes standard with dark-tinted privacy glass on all the windows except the windshield and front-row windows. This was great because my kids usually do a car-seat tango to try to dodge the sunlight. Your little toddler usual refrain of “the sunshine wants in my eyes” magically disappeared in the Armada.
2010 Nissan Armada back
The Armada’s standard running boards are great and necessary. Without them, your son wouldn’t have been able to get in the SUV on his own, but with them he climbed up and down without issue.
The style of the new Armada is more than family friendly (Not Really, Fair, Great, Excellent): Great; Fun-Factor (None, Some, Good Times, Groove-On): Good Times
The Armada’s handsomeness extends to its interior. The simulated chrome and faux wood trim accent the dashboard nicely. The center stack’s controls are all within comfortable reach. So what you waiting for! Go out and get your new handsome, fast and comfortable family car.

2010 Nissan Frontier
2010 Nissan Frontier.Designers can’t do much with the shape of a pickup; there’s the cab and the bed, and the proportions are quite rigidly set. But with the Frontier, Nissan managed to fit in some carlike curves, along with styling cues that are in line with more luxurious SUVs. The large chrome-bar grille is sophisticated, while the beveled window frames and flared wheel wells give it a chunky, serious appearance that’s also tough and charismatic.

2011 Nissan NV Full Size Commercial Van
2011 Nissan NV Full Size Commercial Van.At last year’s NTEA Work Truck Show, we took you on a video tour of Nissan’s NV2500 commercial van concept. This year, the company is showing off the production version. It’s the first in a lineup of full-size body-on-frame light commercial vehicles that Nissan is expected to build and sell for the North American market. The NV Van Series is aimed at the large-van market, long dominated by vehicles like Ford’s E-Series and GM’s full-size vans, but it’s got some unconventional new features that are likely to attract attention in a segment that sees major model revisions only once every decade or so.Instead of a conventional short-nose configuration, where part of the engine sits in the cab next to the driver, the NV has a long-nose front end, like a full-size pickup truck. Nissan has positioned the engine ahead of the A-pillar and firewall. That’s not surprising, since the NV is based on a modified version of the Nissan Titan half-ton pickup’s F-Alpha body-on-frame platform. The long-nose layout also makes maintenance easier because most of the powertrain can be accessed under the van’s hood.

2011 Nissan NV Full Size Commercial Van.Although Nissan previously announced that it’s partnering with contract diesel engine manufacturer Cummins and German supplier ZF to develop and build two diesel engines and a six-speed automatic transmission, the oil burning powertrains won’t be available when the vans first arrive. Two gas engines will be the initial choices. There’s a 4.0-liter V-6 that’s shared with the Nissan Frontier midsize pickup and a 5.6-liter V-8 that’s shared with the Nissan Titan. A five-speed automatic transmission will be the only gearbox.Power figures have not been finalized for the engines, according to Nissan spokesperson Brian Brockman. The Nissan NV will be available in three models: the NV1500 half-ton, NV2500 HD three-quarter-ton and NV3500 HD one-ton. There’s one 146.1-inch wheelbase.
2010 Nissan Patrol
2010 Nissan Patrol
2010 Nissan Patrol. Big SUVs aren’t only popular in the United States – in areas like the Middle East, large SUVs are somewhat of a status symbol. Hoping to appeal to the large SUV shoppers, Nissan made sure that its new Patrol flagship SUV competes strongly against the popular Toyota Land Cruiser.
“We paid special attention to the needs of current Patrol owners, and their passengers, and so focused on creating first-class levels of comfort for the whole family. Heightened luxury, a roomier cabin and a quieter ride combine to achieve this goal, while maintaining Patrol’s superior off-road heritage” stresses Hiroyuki Fushiki, project head and Segment Chief Product Specialist.

This 2010 Nissan Patrol gives us our first look as to what we can expect from the next-generation Nissan Armada – and we like it.
2010 Nissan Patrol
2010 Nissan Patrol. After extensive market research, especially in the Middle East, the design team concluded that for the Patrol to beat its main competitors, it needed not only a brand new design direction but class-leading engine performance, greater luxury and comfort and a smart mix of new technologies that enhanced the total driving experience. Product design director, Taiji Toyota, tells us that the all-new exterior design is like a breath of fresh air. “Not as edgy and hardcore as its predecessor, the softer new surfaces are beautiful and add a sense of modernity to the design equation, while still maintaining a ruggedness and commanding road presence” he said.
According to the design director, one design element that expresses ‘Patrol’ and had to feature strongly was the angled-strut motif front grille. It was meticulously proportioned to deliver a sense of continuity with past models but give a touch of newness while enhancing the car’s status level.
2010 Nissan Patrol
2010 Nissan Patrol,Nissan designers paid special attention to the second row seat passengers by not only significantly expanding legroom, but by also fitting a new multi-screen DVD entertainment system, a first form Nissan. It boasts two rear-facing TVs; one 7-inch monitor embedded into each front seat headrest.
Fitted with six airbags for top grade, the Patrol also comes with a totally revised climate control system boasting another world-first – the curtain vent. Curtain vent has several small but highly effective vents mounted in the ceiling above each side window to blow a strong current of cool air down forming a curtain of air that acts as a barrier to heat penetrating the cabin.
Yet another impressive Patrol feature is the cool box mounted in the centre console between the front seats. Incorporating a unique double hinge design, the lid of the cool box can be opened easily from either the front or second row of seats to access the six 600ml drink bottles inside.
